Southeast U.S. Atlantic Bight Campaign Scenario
Breakout Groups led by James Austin (University of Texas), Amanda Demopoulos (U.S. Geological Survey), Jerry Schubel (Aquarium of the Pacific) and Eric King (Schmidt Ocean Institute)
To make Forum discussions more specific, vivid, and useful, and to test a vision "beyond the ships," the community selected three geographic regions in which to conceive exploration campaigns: the Southeast U.S. Atlantic Bight, the Gulf of Mexico, and the U.S. Arctic. Below on the left are campaign scenarios for each of the three geographic areas as formulated by Forum participants. On the right are a series of presentations that were used to orient participants to issues particular to each geography.
