Dr. David Burg is a biostatistician who teaches and conducts research at Ohalo College in Israel. Dr. Burg has published widely in the area of mathematical modeling of social phenomena. His work covers a range of areas from the dynamics of disease spread to changes in wildlife populations to applications in regional planning. Dr. Burg teaches courses in Statistics, Applied Mathematics and Modeling, and has lectured on Biology, Ecology, and Modern Urban Transportation Systems. Dr. Burg works with researchers around the world including colleagues at The Rockefeller University in New York City as well multiple groups in Israel and Europe. His current research interests center on urban studies and developing software for modeling social diffusion processes.
