Enid Morgan Fogel was educated at Hunter College and Harvard University, where she received a masters degree in education.  She was the Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid in the College at the University of Chicago, the Director of the Equal Opportunity Program and an academic counselor at the University of Rochester, and the Assistant Director of Continuing Education and Dean of the Summer School at Harvard University.  From 1981 until her retirement in 1987, she was the Director for Student Life in the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago
