Installation Instructions 1.Click on the "Start" button in the lower left hand corner of the screen, and select "Run..." from the Start Menu. 2.In the "Run" dialog box, enter the path name, i.e. "c:\temp\setupex.exe", where you saved setupex.exe. You can also click the "Browse" button to look for the file. 3.Click "OK", and you will be asked "This will install Loglet Lab. Do you wish to continue?" Click "Yes" to run the InstallShield program. 4.The InstallShield program will guide you through the installation process asking for information such as your name and where you want to install Loglet Lab. For most systems, the default options should be sufficient, so you probably won't have to change any of the options. 5.At the end of the installation, you will have to restart the computer before the system can use the files that Loglet Lab needs to execute. 6.If, near the end of the installation, you got an error saying "Vcf15.ocx failed to register," you will have to register it manually. After you have restarted your computer, select "Run..." as per the first step, and enter the following (only do this if you got the aforementioned error; otherwise, you do not have to do anything): regsvr32 "C:\program files\ru-phe\loglet lab\vcf15.ocx" 7.The installation will leave a Loglet Lab folder on your Desktop, from which you may double-click on the Loglet Lab icon to start the program. Loglet Lab will also be added to the Start Menu. 8.Before closing the Loglet Lab folder, you may want to create shortcut on your desktop for easy access to the program. To do this, hold the Control (Ctrl) key and drag the Loglet Lab icon put of the folder and onto the desktop. 9.The installation will also give you an "Uninstall Loglet Lab" option. It's a good idea to uninstall Loglet Lab before installing a newer version.
